I always tell him, “dont ever say sorry to me” In my world, when someone is sorry, they say they are sorry and they make sure they learn from it or they wont do it again. For him, he can say sorry and he think everything is good and it justified to do it again. He just say it just to say it to brush it over to whomever he say it to. He’s never truly sorry for anything when he says it.
Doesnt matter how great a person, son, husband, or enterpreneur, a deadbeat is a deadbeat when Tommy does nothing for his own. Tommy is ok with his barely 1 yr old son at the time to work for him and line his pocket with money on empty promises of him being there and be a dad. His son and me coupons for food and live in low income housing. All while, Tommy make sure that his family lives a certain lifestyles and his perfect image to uphold.
Not once he think and be adult about this situation and actually talk to me to find a solution that I’m ok with and agree to. While all this is happening, he make sure that his family is good, his wife is happy, he’s there with his kids for all the birthdays and holiday. Not once he think he should be there for J and be man about it.
